Philosophy |
Photography is much like learning to see, as if for the very first time, the essence that lives and luminescence within everything. It is a miraculous visual music that can be heard and felt, a subtle magical force that is born of trusting my intuition enough to act upon it. My hope is for the viewer to “hear” it too. |

Works with 35mm (Nikon FM2 / F80 / D100), in color transparencies and films. All films and transparencies are scanned digital. Fine Art Prints are printed on Archival matt papers with Ultra Chrome Pigment Inks |

Background |
As a former trained porcelain painter works now as a Product Designer in Asia. Photographing becomes my second passion, I see this as a extension of my entire creative live. |

Comment |
To date, in the age of the digital revolution I warm welcome my PC and Photoshop into my live as a free Picasso. Rather I am using my digital tools as a darkroom, I may enhance color, change tone, eliminate detail as never before possible. I can store final information and generate identical prints whenever needed. There is still the Painter inside of me who wants to create a piece of Art. The digital galleria is the place were I can manipulate images to turn out different, but most of all I dedicate my senses and feelings to the traditional way of Photography. |
